Our membership year runs from the beginning of March to the end of the following February.
Renewal will be the beginning of March. See below. All memberships include postage of four Mechanical Music World magazines. |

Mechanical Music World Magazine
Members receive four quarterly editions of our printed magazine, Mechanical Music World.
This contains a host of articles on a range of topics such as: auctions, automata, histories, member’s collections, reports on AMBC meetings as well as full details about repairs, restorations and all things musical box related.

Hard copies of most back editions can be obtained via the Publications page.

Annual Subscription rates 2026
2026 Membership fees and options have been reviewed and subscription rates have changed (September 2025) to take into account increased printing and postal costs.
Individual Membership now applies to all persons living at the same address.
UK Membership: £25 to cover all people at the same address.
European Membership: £35 to cover all people at the same address.
Rest of the World Membership: £45 to cover all people at the same address.
The above membership fees just cover the cost of printing and posting the MMW magazine.
We welcome donations, over and above the subscription, to go towards the shortfall in costs.

Membership renewal fees are due each year on 1st March - but you can renew, or join, early.
Existing members with a registered email address will be sent an automated reminder in early February.
Those who have not registered their email address can either use the form included with the February copy of Mechanical Music World OR click here, send us an email and, once it's been recorded, we will confirm that you can renew online.
